Coronation Street fans were divided over tonight's jaw-dropping comeback of murderer Clayton Hibbs.
In tonight's episode, the evil character who murdered David Platt's late wife Kylie, returned to the cobbles.
David went to see Clayton in prison; who is his current wife Shona's son.
Clayton said to David in the dramatic scenes: "You married the mum of your wive's killer!"
Fans flooded Twitter, divided at the return of the scary character.
One said: "Ugh, I honestly hate Clayton."
While another wrote: "Clayton is still a right little scumbag!"
Others were pleased at the return of Shona's son.
One gushed: "Yesssssss Clayton."
"Yay so good to see Clayton," added another Coronation Street fan.
Clayton certainly had it in for David in the fiery scenes, as he tried to tear him and Shona apart.
David said to him: "You think you can come back here playing the big man."
With Clayton replying: "She means nothing to you anymore. I hate to break it to you but she's the one who contacted me.
"She left out the fact you married the mum of your wive's killer!"
In tonight's second episode of Corrie, fans went into meltdown after Ken Barlow swore in a mind-blowing TV gaffe.
Viewers were gobsmacked as the character, played by Bill Roache, 87, let slip a swear word before the watershed.
Ken said to Norris: "But you think it's a load of b******s."
One said: "No, Ken Barlow did not say 'b******s'.... damn!!"
While another gasped: "Did Ken Barlow just say”load of b******s???"
"Anyone just hear Ken Barlow on Corrie say "it's a load of b******s" before the 9pm watershed..."exclaimed a third.
